Welcome to The Truth News.Info
Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas)
Recently I had the opportunity to question Federal Reserve Chairman
Ben
Bernanke when he appeared before the congressional Joint Economic
committee. The topic that morning was the state of the American economy,
and many of my colleagues raised questions about how the Fed might
better "regulate" things to ease fears of an economic downturn. The
tenor of my colleagues' questions suggested that Mr. Bernanke's job is
nothing less than to run the U.S. economy, like some kind of Soviet
central planner.
Certainly it's true that Mr. Bernanke can drastically affect the economy
at the drop of a hat, simply by making decisions about the money supply
and interest rates. But why do members of Congress assume this is good?
Why do we accept without objection that a small group of people on the
Federal Reserve Board wields so much power over our economic well-being?
Is centralized, monopoly control over our money even compatible with a
supposedly free-market economy?
Few Americans give much thought to the Federal Reserve System or
monetary policy in general. But even as they strive to earn a living,
and hopefully save or invest for the future, Congress and the Federal
Reserve Bank are working insidiously against them. Day by day, every
dollar you have is being devalued.
The greatest threat facing America today is not terrorism, or foreign
economic competition, or illegal immigration. The greatest threat facing
America today is the disastrous fiscal policies of our own government,
marked by shameless deficit spending and Federal Reserve currency
devaluation. It is this one-two punch-- Congress spending more than it
can tax or borrow, and the Fed printing money to make up the
difference-- that threatens to impoverish us by further destroying the
value of our dollars.
The Fed's inflationary policies hurt older people the most. Older people
generally rely on fixed incomes from pensions and Social Security, along
with their savings. Inflation destroys the buying power of their fixed
incomes, while low interest rates reduce any income from savings. So
while Fed policies encourage younger people to overborrow because
interest rates are so low, they also punish thrifty older people who
saved for retirement.
The financial press sometimes criticizes Federal Reserve policy, but the
validity of the fiat system itself is never challenged. Both political
parties want the Fed to print more money, either to support social
spending or military adventurism. Politicians want the printing presses
to run faster and create more credit, so that the economy will be healed
like magic- or so they believe.
Fiat dollars allow us to live beyond our means, but only for so long.
History shows that when the destruction of monetary value becomes
rampant, nearly everyone suffers and the economic and political
structure becomes unstable. Spendthrift politicians may love a system
that generates more and more money for their special interest projects,
but the rest of us have good reason to be concerned about our monetary
system and the future value of our dollars.

2/3 of immigrants cost Americans $22,449 a year, shows new study
WorldNetDaily.com 04/11/07
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=55135
WASHINGTON Someone has finally fixed an approximate taxpayer cost of
between 12 million and 15 million illegal aliens residing in the U.S.
A new study by the Heritage Foundation's Robert Rector found a household
headed by an individual without a high school education, including about
two-thirds of illegal aliens, costs U.S. taxpayers more than $32,000 in
federal, state and local benefits. That same family contributes an
average of $9,000 a year in taxes, resulting in a net tax burden of
$22,449 each year.
Over the course of the household's lifetime that tax burden translates
to $1.1 million.
If the lower figure of 12 million illegal aliens is used for estimation
purposes, the total tax burden translates to $2.2 trillion.
"Would any of us buy shares in a company that we knew would produce a
loss of a million dollars a share," asks Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, in
response to the study. "Cheap labor is not cheap at the cost of over a
million dollars per head of household."
Rector's study, "The Fiscal Cost of Low-Skill Households to the U.S.
Taxpayer," examines the economics of the 17.7 million American
households made up of people without a high-school degree. Using numbers
from the Census Bureau, the Congressional Research Service, the Bureau
of Labor Standards and other government agencies, Rector determined what
they earn, what they spend and what they receive in government services.
About half of the 17.7 million households studied are illegal aliens.
About two-thirds of illegal alien households are headed by someone
without a high school degree. Only 10 percent of native-born Americans
fit into that category.
"Over the next ten years the total cost of low-skill households to the
taxpayer (immediate benefits minus taxes paid) is likely to be at least
$3.9 trillion," Rector writes. "This number would go up significantly if
changes in immigration policy lead to substantial increases in the
number of low-skill immigrants entering the country and receiving services."
A January 2001 French secret services report that revealed al Qaeda was
planning to hijack an aircraft was given to a CIA agenthttp://www.rte.ie/news/2007/0416/911.html
RTE News | 04/16/07
A January 2001 French secret services report that revealed al Qaeda was
planning to hijack an aircraft was given to a CIA agent, according to
the French newspaper Le Monde.
The newspaper says it has obtained 328 pages of classified documents
that show foreign agents infiltrated al Qaeda's network.
It produced nine reports between September 2000 and August 2001,
including the January 2001 document called 'Plan to hijack an aircraft
by Islamic radicals'.
It says the operation was discussed in Kabul at the start of 2000 by al
Qaeda, Taliban and Chechen militants.
Uzbek officials apparently tipped off the French about the plot. Alain
Chouet, a former top anti-terrorism official within the DGSE, said that
an Afghan warlord from the Uzbek community who was fighting the Taliban
at the time had sent men to infiltrate al-Qaida camps and their
information was passed down the chain to Western intelligence officials.
Confirming information in Le Monde, Chouet said such intelligence was
likely checked out before it was put into a note. He also said that to
the best of his knowledge, "all identified threats, even indirect and
minimal ones, were passed in both directions" between the CIA and the CGSE.
The hijack was meant to happen between March and September 2000 but the
organisers delayed the plan 'because of differences of opinion,
particularly over the date, objective and participants,' Le Monde said,
citing the report.
Attacks on New York and Washington DC eventually took place on 11
September, 2001 and killed almost 3,000 people.
Le Monde said the January 2001 report was handed over to a CIA operative
in Paris, but that no mention of it was made in the official US
September 11 Commission which produced its findings in July 2004.
Le Monde said the documents also show the French believed bin Laden was
still receiving help from family members and senior officials in Saudi
Arabia in advance of the 11 September attacks.
This was despite attempts to clamp down on the network after al Qaeda's
attacks on US embassies in Tanzania and Kenya in 1998.

PLEASE READ THIS 'UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL' REPORT - THIS IS REALITY TIME, IT IS TIME TO SHOW YOUR OUTRAGE - IT IS TIME TO COLLECT SIGNATURES - IT IS TIME TO BUILD THE CONSTITUTION PARTY..................BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE
Dear CPers and Patriot Friends,
I had the opportunity to drive to Kansas City, MO this past week for a training session through my job. I knew there would be spare time before and after, so I planned to do some investigating.
I was able to spend time looking into the NAFTA Super Highway "Smart Port" thing to find some answers. First, the term, "Smart Port", is actually the name of the company managing the areas.....that's correct, "AREAS", plural, meaning more than one. There are 9 to be exact, and they are called 'U.S. Foreign Trade Zones".
These are in, and around, the Kansas City, MO area. They boast over 10,000 acres of foreign trade zone. The company, "Kansas City SmartPort, Inc., is a non-profit corporation whose objective is to help facilitate an increase in international trade among Kansas City area businesses by developing, operating, and marketing a regional international trade processing center", according to their website. It also says, "KC SmartPort was created jointly by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, the Kansas City Area Development Council, and the Mid-America Regional Council" .
These 9 FTZ's ,as they are called, are spread throughout the area, each one for a different area of transportation, i.e railway, airway, waterway, etc.
As I drove through town, I saw my first sign, "U.S. Foreign Trade Zone". I was shocked! Suddenly, it was becoming more real to me. Then I also saw, "Welcome to Missouri" signs in about 10 different languages, i.e. Chinese, Arabic, Mexican, etc.
After my training conference, I spent some time going to several of these FTZ's to see what I could find. Each one looked much like your typical shipping/industrial area. There were, however, a couple of things that bothered me.
1) As I drove closer to these areas, City street signs read, "Firearms Not Permitted", and
2) at the main offices of these Smart Ports, about 10 flags were flying from other nations.
I did find the land where the Mexican Customs and Consulate Office will be constructed. It is not under construction yet, but there is work on updating the roads in and around that area. The City of Kansas City is financing $3 million for the construction of this facility. The City currently has a trade and tourism representative in the City quasi-public Mexi-Plex office at 16th Street and Baltimore Avenue. The facility is the only one of its kind in the United States. It also houses the City Mexican Business Initiatives Corp., the Mexican Consulate three-state regional office, the offices of the North American International Trade Corridor Partnership, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City.
My friends, please hear me and understand how disturbing this is. We are losing our sovereignty, right under our feet and noses. Seeing all this has frightened me even more. When I saw those signs, I nearly wrecked my truck!
Please wake up and awaken your friends and neighbors. This is upon us, and we must stand up now, or I fear we will lose everything. This is serious!
What is the matter with our Missouri elected officials? Do we have to beg them to uphold their oath of office to preserve and protect we, the people and our great state of Missouri? They are allowing our state and our country to be dismantled as we speak.

Constitution Party Vice Presidential Candidate http://www.constitutionparty.com/news.php?aid=511 by Chuck Baldwin
That Americas two most recent presidents, Bill Clinton and George W.
Bush, have been guilty of egregiously flawed and fallacious decisions
and activities is obvious. However, at what point do bad policies and
conduct become treasonous? At what point do we conclude that our
countrys Chief Executive has crossed the line of mere inanity or
navet and has actually become a threat to our national security and
survival?
Those who listened to my radio talk show when Bill Clinton was in office
know how I daily chronicled what I believed were acts of treason. No, I
am not talking about his numerous sexual affairs. Im talking primarily
about what became known as Chinagate.
There is a plethora of evidence to support the accusation that
then-President Bill Clinton deliberately facilitated the transfer of
military (including rocket and satellite) technology to Communist China
in exchange for large donations via highly placed Chinese operatives.
That, more than the Monica Lewinsky affair, should have been the basis
of impeachment. However, the Republican majority in Congress chose to do
absolutely nothing about Clintons treasonous conduct in Chinagate. Now
it is President George W. Bush who is pushing the envelope.
As I have already stated in this column, I believe an independent
investigation should proceed aggressively in order to determine whether
or not President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney deliberately
manufactured evidence to support a preemptive invasion of Iraq. If it is
proven they did, they should both be impeached.
However, I believe there is another area of malfeasance committed by
G.W. Bush that is equal to anything Bill Clinton did: his determination
to facilitate a Mexican invasion of the United States and the decision
to merge America into a trilateral North American Community.
It is no hyperbole to say that Bushs infatuation with Mexican
immigration and uniting the economy of the U.S. with those of Canada and
Mexico threatens the sovereignty and independence of our country, not to
mention our national security.
One former military analyst is quoted as saying, "We are under attack.
Twenty million have already entered the country, and more are to come.
And sadly, many of our leaders are siding with the invaders. They are
willing to spend billions of dollars to deport foreigners from Iraq and
defend Iraqs borders, but wont lift a finger to save the USA."
William Calhoun wrote, "We know that Hispanics in the Mexican military
are helping Arab terrorists sneak into the United States. We know that
many Mexican gangs have already made alliances with terrorist cells in
India."
Calhoun continued by saying, "In short, Hispanics plan to retake the
Southwest United States. Reconquista, is what they call it, and their
aim is for Aztlan to live once again. As Mexican activist Ricky Sierra
said, We are recolonizing America . . .. It is time for us to take back
what is ours."
Not only has President Bush turned a blind eye to the gigantic national
security risks posed by unfettered illegal immigration, he has become
the most outspoken expeditor of illegal immigration.
For example, just recently, President Bush gave a directive to the Texas
Court of Criminal Appeals demanding that a convicted Mexican rapist and
murderer on death row be given another hearing. In what is obviously an
attempt to grovel before and appease the Mexican government, Bush used
an International Court of Justice ruling to justify this presidential
intrusion into the State of Texass judicial affairs.
The murderers name is Jose Ernesto Medellin. He was one of six gang
members convicted of brutally raping and killing two Houston teenagers
Jennifer Ertman and Elizabeth Pena, who stumbled upon a violent gang
initiation. But George W. Bush wants him taken off death row and given
another hearing.
Thankfully, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals has no intention of
being bullied by this rogue president. Judge Michael Keasler wrote that
Bush "exceeded his constitutional authority by intruding into the
independent powers of the judiciary." Presiding Judge Sharon Keller said
that Bushs "unprecedented, unnecessary, and intrusive exercise of power
over the Texas court system cannot be supported by the foreign policy
authority conferred on him by the United States Constitution." (Source:
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram)
Remember, this is the same president that, at the behest of the Mexican
government, turned the U.S. Attorneys office loose on two U.S. Border
Patrol agents and a Texas Deputy Sheriff. According to Jerome Corsi,
"Investigators had no plans to bring charges against Texas Sheriffs
Deputy Gilmer Hernandez until the Mexican government intervened and
demanded it, the officers supervisor told WND.
"Sheriff Don Letsinger of Rocksprings, Texas, said the Texas Rangers
were not going to recommend prosecution, but federal law enforcement
took over the case in response to the Mexican governments intervention."
I trust that readers are also aware that in continuing to accommodate
illegal immigration and placate the Mexican government that promotes it,
President Bush is ignoring the fact that, according to Congressman Steve
King (R-Iowa), illegal aliens murder twelve Americans each day. That
equates to more Americans being killed by illegal aliens each year than
have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan to date.
Now we hear that "the Bush administration is fully committed to
beginning within weeks a pilot test that will allow Mexican trucks to
operate freely across the U.S." (Source: World Net Daily) Think of the
thousands of U.S. workers that will ultimately be displaced by Bushs
decision to launch Mexican trucks all across America. Not to mention the
potential safety and security problems that will ensue.
I ask the question again: At what point do bad policies and conduct
become treasonous? At what point do we conclude that our countrys Chief
Executive has crossed the line of mere inanity or navet and has
actually become a threat to our national security and survival? I
believe Bill Clinton crossed that line. I believe that George W. Bush
has also crossed that line.
The problem is, hardly anyone in Washington, D.C., has the guts to do
anything about it. For one thing, many of our congressmen and senators
from both major parties are equally culpable in both Clintons and
Bushs chicanery.
Lets face it, folks: we are living under a government that, regardless
of whether Republicans or Democrats control it, is sated with
corruption. Its time we admitted it. No! Its time we did something
about it. I hope and pray that the American people will wake up and
realize that they have the authority and power to throw off this bunch
of scoundrels. Its called the ballot box, and we need to use it to
thoroughly clean house. And we need to do it while we still can.
As Winston Churchill said, "If you will not fight for the right when you
can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your
victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when
you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a
precarious chance for survival. There may be a worse case. You may have
to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to
perish than to live as slaves." Comment Home
