More Gulf War Veterans have died than Vietnam Veterans. This probably is news to you. But the truth has been hidden by a technicality. So here is the truth.
The casualties in the Vietnam War were pretty simple to understand. If a soldier was dead from his combat tour, he was a war casualty. There are 58,195 names recorded on the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, DC.
But something odd has happened with the Iraq War. The government, under the Bush administration, did something dishonest that resulted in a lie that’s persisted since the war began — and continues to this very day. They decided to report the war deaths in Iraq only if the soldier died with his boots on the ground in a combat situation.
The actual figures have been hidden from the American public just like the returning, flag draped coffins were censored from the press. But the figures are now available and we can only hope that the American people will be outraged when they learn how they have been misled.

Donald Rumsfeld Confronted on Aspartame and Iraq War
CHICAGO, IL- Former Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, strolled into Chicago on May 17, 2011, for a speech at the globalist think tank, Chicago Council on Global Affairs. The audience was mainly comprised of your average “Coke drinking, McDonald’s eating” yuppie, ready to bow down to Mr. Rumsfeld.
To start off, Rumsfeld is responsible for contributing to the approval of the artificial sweetener Aspartame. The known carcinogen has caused millions of people suffering around the world.
TEHRAN (FNA)5/28/11- Iran and China on Saturday underlined the need for the further expansion of media cooperation between the two countries.
The issue was raised in a meeting between a delegation of Chinese journalists and reporters and Iranian Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Press Affairs Mohammad Jafar Mohammadzadeh here in Tehran today.
During the meeting, Mohmmadzaheh described the level of cultural cooperation between Iran and China as "desirable", and called on the Chinese media to take part in key cultural events in Iran, including the Media and News Agencies Festival.
The Chinese delegation briefed the Iranian deputy minister on the activities of the Chinese media.
The Chinese journalists lauded Iran's high capacity and vast capabilities in media affairs, and added that their visit is aimed at gaining a better understanding of the realities in Iran.
The Chinese delegation further urged for closer media cooperation between the two countries, underlining that closer cooperation between the Iranian and Chinese media would end the monopoly and reign of the western media over the world.
Earlier this month, Iranian and Chinese cultural officials signed an agreement to boost the two countries' cultural cooperation, specially in the field of literature.
The two sides signed cultural agreement for the translation of the classic and modern works of Chinese literature into Persian and vice-versa.
The agreement was signed by Iran's Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and a Chinese cultural delegation headed by Beijing's Ambassador to Tehran Yu Hongyang.
US, Pakistan Near Open War; Chinese Ultimatum Warns Washington Against Attack
Webster G. Tarpley, Ph.D.
May 20, 2011
China has officially put the United States on notice that Washington’s planned attack on Pakistan will be interpreted as an act of aggression against Beijing. This blunt warning represents the first known strategic ultimatum received by the United States in half a century, going back to Soviet warnings during the Berlin crisis of 1958-1961, and indicates the grave danger of general war growing out of the US-Pakistan confrontation.
“Any Attack on Pakistan Would be Construed as an Attack on China”
Responding to reports that China has asked the US to respect Pakistan’s sovereignty in the aftermath of the Bin Laden operation, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu used a May 19 press briefing to state Beijing’s categorical demand that the “sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan must be respected.” According to Pakistani diplomatic sources cited by the Times of India, China has “warned in unequivocal terms that any attack on Pakistan would be construed as an attack on China.” This ultimatum was reportedly delivered at the May 9 China-US strategic dialogue and economic talks in Washington, where the Chinese delegation was led by Vice Prime Minister Wang Qishan and State Councilor Dai Bingguo.1 Chinese warnings are implicitly backed up by that nation’s nuclear missiles, including an estimated 66 ICBMs, some capable of striking the United States, plus 118 intermediate-range missiles, 36 submarine-launched missiles, and numerous shorter-range systems.
Support from China is seen by regional observers as critically important for Pakistan, which is otherwise caught in a pincers between the US and India: “If US and Indian pressure continues, Pakistan can say ‘China is behind us. Don’t think we are isolated, we have a potential superpower with us,’” Talat Masood, a political analyst and retired Pakistani general, told AFP.
(Xinhua)2011-05-28 BEIJING - China opposes Vietnam's exploring oil and gas in China's jurisdictional area of the South China Sea, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Jiang Yu said Saturday.
"China's stance on the South China Sea is clear and consistent. We oppose the oil and gas operations conducted by Vietnam, which have undermined China's interests and jurisdictional rights in the South China Sea and violated the consensus both countries have reached on the issue," Jiang said in a statement.
Jiang made the remarks responding to a recent report saying that Hanoi claimed Chinese marine surveillance vessels interfered with Vietnam's oil and gas exploration in the South China Sea and accused Beijing of violating its sovereignty.
"What relevant Chinese departments did was completely normal marine law-enforcement and surveillance activities in China's jurisdictional sea area," Jiang said.
"China has been committed to safeguarding the peace and stability in the South China Sea. We are willing to work together with relevant parties to seek a solution to related disputes and implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea," Jiang said.
"Ultimately, our objective is to welcome the Soviet Union back into the world order. Perhaps the world order of the future will truly be a family of nations."

"We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order, a world where the rule of law, not the rule of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this new world order, an order in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the UN’s founders.'

G8 summit: from Libya to nuclear safety
The heads of state of the world’s most developed countries gathered for a G8 summit at the 19th century French resort of Deauville this week. One of the outcomes of the summit is the unanimous acknowledgement of Gaddafi’s regime in Libya as illegitimate. The West expects Russia to mediate in Libya. Some of the equally important results of the summit remained “on the sidelines” of it.
The 25-page final Declaration adopted by the participants in the summit focuses on the recent developments in Arab countries. The G8 leaders support the political and democratic changes in countries of the Middle East and North Africa and promise political and financial assistance for the region. International development banks are ready to earmark 20 billion dollars for Egypt and Tunisia.
The Arab Spring revolutions were described as historic events comparable to the ‘coming down’ of the Berlin Wall. As the transformation process goes on, Libya remains the hottest spot in North Africa. Russia could play a significant role in resolving the conflict, given its well-established contacts with pro-Gaddafi and rebel forces. Moscow has de facto become a mediator in the Libyan conflict. President Medvedev spoke of Moscow’s position at the closing news conference.
"Russia has always called for a peaceful solution to the crisis. Russia’s representatives have consulted with representatives of the new leadership from Benghazi and the political team from Tripoli. The sooner the military campaign is over, the better. Libya should continue to be an independent, sovereign state, capable of standing for its interests on the international scene."
Russia abstained from the Security Council vote on Resolution 1973 which bans air flights over Libya. At the same time, Moscow shares the opinion of the other G8 members that Gaddafi’s regime is no longer legitimate and the colonel must go. As for where Col.Gaddafi could find shelter, President Medvedev made it clear that Russia would not welcome him but there are countries that would.
As regards Syria, the G8 countries threatened to take appropriate measures if the Syrian authorities failed to start democratic reforms. The resolution, however, stipulates no specific decisions on Syria, and the credit for this goes to Russian diplomacy, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said. Russia is opposed to sanctions. For this reason, it insisted that Damascus, geared for reforms, could cope with its domestic problems on its own. There is no need for placing the Syrian issue in the hands of the UN Security Council. As becomes clear from the protracted operation in Libya, sanctions don’t guarantee an efficient solution to a conflict.
Nuclear energy safety was another issue of the agenda of the G8 summit. Dmitry Medvedev came up with a number of proposals concerning rapid nuclear warning systems, greater responsibility of nuclear energy using countries, and stress-tests.
All G8 leaders were unanimous that countries should choose the right sites for the construction of nuclear power plants and guarantee better protection against man-inflicted and natural disasters. President Medvedev had this to say.
"Even though all counterparts agreed that the Fukushima nuclear crisis was the worst trial the world had ever faced, no one offered any alternatives to nuclear energy. Oil and gas are too costly, and green technology is not so common to satisfy the global demand."
Iran was still another point on the G8 agenda as the G8 countries are concerned about the possibility of Tehran ignoring the UN Security Council resolutions and the IAEA requirements. Countries have every right to pursue peaceful nuclear programs as long as they comply with certain commitments.
The results of talks on the sidelines of the Group of Eight Summit in Deauville included an agreement between Presidents Dmitry Medvedev and Nicolas Sarkozy regarding a contract for the purchase of Mistral helicopter carriers. Moscow will buy four assault ships. The first two will be built in France, and the next two will be built in Russia. The Mistrals are to undergo design changes on Russia’s orders to be able to carry the more sizeable Russian helicopters and navigate in the ice-covered northern seas. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the newly purchased ships will enter the Pacific and Arctic Fleets.
In the opinion of President Medvedev, the Mistral deal will cement cooperation between Russia and France. Nicolas Sarkozy said that it reflects new visions demonstrated by Russia and NATO. As he answered reporters’ questions, President Sarkozy had to explain that the four Mistrals Russia was buying from France pose no threat to other countries.
The issue of terrorism has come to the fore over the past 10 to 12 years. Unlike before, the West acknowledges the terrorist threat coming from the North Caucasus. The United States is ready to pay five million dollars for information leading to the whereabouts of Doku Umarov. Also, Russia and the US agree that the number one challenge is coming from Al-Qaeda and that countries will have to join forces if they want to do away with it.
The G8 summit in Deauville proclaimed freedom and democracy and was held under the slogan “A New World, New Ideas”. Building a new world will take time. And the Deauville summit made the right choice in this direction.
WHY DO MOST AMERICANS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THESE ISSUES
by Dr Alan Sabrosky (Ph.D, University of Michigan), a ten-year US Marine Corps veteran and a 1986 graduate of the US Army War College.
'US Congress controlled by AIPAC' - PressTV 110523
This is not intended for those who follow these issues, but as a primer for a general public (especially Americans) who do not follow them, and in fact are not even aware that they are issues! Hoping that others may also find useful material in it. Far too often, issues involving Israel and its actions are addressed in a sophisticated and complex manner, often with little or no linkage among them. This is fine for professionals who are well versed in the subject matter, and can infer detail and linkages where none is explicitly given or made.
But it is NOT so for a general public, most of whom are not even aware that these issues exist, and have been exposed to a steady diet of pro-Israel propaganda throughout most if not all of their lives.
This can be used in many ways, but I would focus on state and local officials, newspapers and radio and TV stations, and veterans groups. The classic “grass roots” approach is the only way to circumvent the virtual lock the Zionists have at the national level in the political realm and the media. So let us begin.
(Editors note: Remember this? Israel’s Declaration of Independence: What a joke!!!)
“On the day of the termination of the British mandate and on the strength of the United Nations General Assembly declare The State of Israel will be based on freedom, justice and peace as envisaged by the prophets of Israel: it will ensure complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants irrespective of religion it will guarantee freedom of religion [and] conscience and will be faithful to the Charter of the United Nations.” - May 14, 1948, The Declaration of the Establishment of Israel)
Even the real Jewish people are outraged.
Jewish Voice for Peace: Tell Congress no standing ovations for Bibi Netanyahu.
I was stunned to see that our entire U.S. Congress gave Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu 29 standing ovations on Tuesday. Twenty-nine. Unbelievable, given what his speech contained.
Here’s a taste of what Netanyahu said, and Jewish Voice for Peace’s debunking of it:
“You don’t need to send American troops to Israel, we defend ourselves.“
Not true. Israel does not defend itself. Israel is historically the number one recipient of US foreign aid. The US gives Israel a whopping $3 billion a year in aid and military equipment, most of which is used to defend Israel’s illegal occupation.
“In Judea and Samaria, the Jewish people are not occupiers.” (Raucous standing ovation.)
Not True. Israel’s nearly 44-year long occupation of Palestinian territories is illegal according to international law. The more than 500,000 Jewish Israelis who have been moved into the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 1967 are settlers who occupy Palestinian land – much of it privately owned by Palestinians and stolen by Jews the rest of it expropriated by the Israeli state – all taken for exclusive Jewish use. (2) This is occupation.
Moreover, “Judea and Samaria” are the biblical terms for that piece of land. Is Bibi suggesting a state based not on secular law but on the Bible? A Jewish theocracy? Is this the Israel that our Congress promotes?
“You don’t need to export democracy to Israel. We’ve already got it.”
Not true. Within Israel, the 20% of Israeli citizens who are Palestinian do have the right to vote and run for office. But they are victims of systematic housing, workplace and resource discrimination. For example, 93% of Israeli land is reserved for Jews.(3) In the West Bank, more than 2 million Palestinians live under Israeli occupation—that is, their lives are ruled by Israeli military law, while their Jewish settler neighbors are subject to Israeli civil law. Another 1.5 million Gazans live under siege by the Israeli military. Is this democracy?
“Jerusalem must never again be divided. Jerusalem must remain the united capital of Israel.”
Not true. The original UN charter that created Israel, as still recognized by the international community, identified Jerusalem as an internationalized zone that must be shared by all parties.
I should say that I’m not really shocked by Netanyahu’s speech. But, I am shocked – shocked, stunned, discouraged, outraged – by the reaction of our elected officials. Clearly, they are not hearing from the growing number of people like you and me who are ready for a change. They won’t stop applauding until we speak up – and speak up loudly.
Rae Abileah is with the advocacy group Code Pink and a member of Young, Jewish, and Proud, the young adult arm of Jewish Voice for Peace. She was physically attacked by some members of the Israel lobby group AIPAC, hospitalized with neck injuries and then arrested after she bravely shouted out the truth during Netanyahu's speech to Congress.(4) The night before, 5 protesters interrupted Netanyahu's AIPAC speech and were similarly assaulted.
Not all of us can put our bodies on the line the way Rae and so many others have. But we can all take action today, by telling our elected officials they must represent us, not the interests of one of the most right-wing and intransigent governments in Israeli history.
The speech that Netanyahu gave that day will go down in history as an extraordinary embarrassment to Americans and Israelis alike. Read on here to find out what you can do.
So many of the words and warnings delivered by America’s Founding Fathers are appropriate for today. Consider this sage counsel from America’s first and greatest President, George Washington: “Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” I was reminded of these words when I read the following report out of the State of Indiana.
“Overturning a common law dating back to the English Magna Carta of 1215, the Indiana Supreme Court [ISC] ruled Thursday [May 12, 2011] that Hoosiers have no right to resist unlawful police entry into their homes.
“In a 3-2 decision, Justice Steven David writing for the court said if a police officer wants to enter a home for any reason or no reason at all, a homeowner cannot do anything to block the officer’s entry.”
Justice Robert Rucker and Justice Brent Dickson dissented from the ruling, saying the court’s decision violates the Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution.
“In my view the majority sweeps with far too broad a brush by essentially telling Indiana citizens that government agents may now enter their homes illegally-that is, without the necessity of a warrant, consent or exigent circumstances,” Rucker said.
The NW Indiana Times also reported, “This is the second major Indiana Supreme Court ruling this week involving police entry into a home.
“On Tuesday, the court said police serving a warrant may enter a home without knocking if officers decide circumstances justify it. Prior to that ruling, police serving a warrant would have to obtain a judge’s permission to enter without knocking.”
Shortly after the ISC decision, Newton County Sheriff Donald Hartman, Sr. said he believes the ruling makes house-to-house searches possible. According to a report at Infowars.com, Sheriff Hartman “made it clear that he would use random house to house searches if he believed it was necessary.”
The Infowars.com report also correctly notes that it was years of illegal searches and seizures and seizures of the American colonists (along with the attempt to seize the colonists’ firearms) that led our forebears to resist the British government with force on April 19, 1775, at Lexington Green and Concord Bridge which ignited America’s War for Independence.
It may be helpful at this point to rehearse the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution. “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
With this ruling, the ISC effectively told the citizens of the State of Indiana that the Fourth Amendment is null and void in their State. And Sheriff Donald Hartman has effectively said that he will treat the citizens of Newton County in much the same way that King George treated America’s colonists–or the way Stalin’s or Mao’s police treated the enslaved subjects of the former Soviet Union and Communist China.
And what is also disturbing is the way government, at every level, seems unwilling to police itself.
The reason the US Constitution limited the jurisdiction and authority of the federal government and left states with their own jurisdiction and (broader) authority was to serve as a check and balance against the tyrannical tendencies of the central government. Today, however, acts of tyranny seem to be taking place as frequently on the State and local levels as it is at the federal level. This story out of the Hoosier State is only the latest example.
Does anyone find it more than interesting (and even paradoxical) that while the US military is being used more and more as international policemen, local and State law enforcement personnel are often being used more and more like military troops (and taking on the appearance, procedures, and tactics of military troops)?
Traditionally, it was never the role of local and State law enforcement personnel to act like soldiers. Police officers have no “enemy” to seek out and destroy. Their job is to protect, not punish. The citizens of their State, county, or city are not the enemy.
I recently had a well-meaning police lieutenant tell me that his primary concern was that his officers were protected. That is all well and good, and I certainly understand his concern for his officers. However, when a man or woman puts on the uniform of a police officer (or sheriff’s deputy), he or she is saying that they are willing to sacrifice their lives in order to make sure that the citizens of their community stay protected. The “us versus them” attitude of many police officers today is very harmful to the principles of freedom and liberty.
In the above-mentioned story, it was the judiciary branch of the Indiana State government that was unwilling to hold the executive branch of the Indiana State government accountable to the principles of liberty and constitutional government. Once again, we see that government cannot be trusted to police itself.
If the State of Indiana had constitutionalist sheriffs (and surely there must be a few of them), they would have immediately renounced the ISC decision, and made it clear that they would never allow their deputies to operate in the tyrannical manner approved by the court’s dastardly decision. The same should have been true for Indiana’s police chiefs. Was there such a response? If there was, the media ignored it.
Furthermore, Indiana’s governor should have immediately renounced the ISC’s decision and issued an executive order forbidding State and local law enforcement personnel from complying with this unconstitutional decision. Again, if he did this, we didn’t hear about it, did we?
The propensity of government is not only to build and strengthen itself, but also to protect itself. This is true at every level of government. It is up to “We the People” to hold our civil magistrates accountable to constitutional government. And this is most efficiently done at the State level.
The citizens of Indiana can put a stop to this nonsense if they are of a mind to do so. They should rise as one in opposition to the court’s opinion; they should rise as one in demanding the resignations of the three justices who affirmed this draconian decision; they should rise as one in demanding the resignation of Newton County Sheriff Donald Hartman (and any other sheriff who expressed similar views); they should rise as one in demanding that the Indiana governor publicly repudiate this opinion and that he sign an EO countering it; and they should rise as one in making sure that every elected official in Indiana knows that the people of the Hoosier State will not sit back and allow their liberties to be trampled on in such an egregious fashion.
As I have said in past columns, liberty will be won or lost at the State level. All this talk about “saving America” is just that: talk. If we are serious about protecting and preserving our liberties, we will work to ensure that our individual State is the vanguard of freedom–not the instrument of its demise. If we cannot convince our State and local governments to protect our liberties, we are dreaming if we think we are going to convince Washington, D.C., to do the same.
The decision of the Indiana Supreme Court and the public statements of Sheriff Donald Hartman prove that George Washington was spot-on: government is a “fearful master.”
Elizabeth 2 was crowned by fraud, and has been acting un-Lawfully ever since.
In the binding contract she signed to officially become the "queen" of Britain, she promised NOT to legislate herself, or allow others to do so. This of course she has failed to uphold in a massive way, having given royal assent to over 3,400 acts of parliament so far.
She has also breached that contract in many, many other ways as well.
Because of video, audio, and written evidence compiled by Muad'Dib, there is absolute NO refutation to the FACT that Elizabeth did indeed make this binding contract, and what the terms are for that contract. This video shows only excerpted bits and pieces of that evidence.
The very FIRST time she did anything in breach of that contract, as with any other contract that is broken, either the terms of agreement change (if that's how it's written), or in the case, the contract is immediately voided.
Since Elizabeth has broken her contract with the British people, she is no longer the rightful queen of Britain (if she ever was...), which means she has absolutely no authority or power to bring legislated charges against ANYONE.
This very powerful information can be used to challenge the jurisdiction of ANY court in the commonwealth, by directly challenging the authority of Elizabeth herself (or "Regina" in the courts), and the information is so thoroughly documented, that no one can argue against it and win, because it is just so simple and straight-forward.
In ANY and ALL legislated "offenses" (like traffic fines, income/poll/council taxes, or other victimless "offenses")---this information can be used to have any charges dropped.
It MUST be used by everyone all over Britain if we are ever going to be free from legislated tyranny.
Please study the information, and USE it for your benefit, and the benefit of everyone else.
