By: Dennis Grover, American Veteran

Yes, I am a Veteran. Yes, I believed I served in Vietnam to protect Freedom in America. (3rd TFW, PACAF, Bien Hoa RVN.) Yes, I have a son who was born deaf as a result of my exposure to Agent Orange (3rd TFW, PACAF, Bien Hoa RVN – “Ranch Hands.”) Yes, I carry the internal scars and personality defects of this experience. Yes, I believe in a strong military for the very reasons that our Founding Fathers did when they acknowledged the Militia internally and a Navy to guard our shores. The reason for this is so that we do not have war. Yes, I'm a Veteran and damn proud of it because of my belief in the original intent in the foundations of America. I was duped, but I'm proud to be in such good company, because so were you. We are now helping each other to win the real war for our Freedom.

 However, without this experience I would not be able to recognize the truth in that war and others, nor would I be the person I am today, both the good and the bad. Nor would I carry a wrenching knot in my stomach watching a corrupt and immoral gaggle of (s)elected morons attacking Americans to steal their God-Given Unalienable Rights; the rights that I, in effect, took a bullet for. The military when used to promote war for material gain of those in power at the expense of the loss of well-intentioned young Americans and disruptions of human love is despicable.

When you see through the thin veil of major media name-calling and assigning of their labels to divide conquer, you realize that at last someone is demanding that elected officials learn morality and obey the law, you are a soldier. When you hear the hype that "guns kill people" and firm up on the grip knowing full well that guns protect Rights, you are a soldier. When you take charge of your own health realizing that most pharmaceuticals, non-natural medicine and intentionally placed chemicals in your air and food are harmful to your health, you are a soldier. When you speak up and demand answers to common sense and legal questions, you are a soldier. In short, when you question the validity of “orders and law” and stand up for your Rights, you are a soldier. When you realize that Barack is merely the audible portion of throwing up and Obama means the impersonation of a Statesman, you are a soldier. When you realize that the Federal Reserve System is not federal, has no reserves but truly is a system to control and subordinate the wealth of America and Americans, you are a soldier.

When you:

know that Love is beauty and comfort, while Fear is dis-ease;

know that the spectrum of your emotions range only between Love and Fear;

know that the only weapon those who will deny your Freedom have is Fear;

know that you must live within a state of either Love or fear and that you can recognize both but not live both and have the guts to choose, you are a soldier.

If you have read this far and understand, you are a soldier.

You are a soldier in one of the most demanding and disciplined operations you will ever face, the defense of your Freedom and Love.

Remain steadfast in your pursuits, it is truly all you and I have. Yes, I am a Veteran of the military, but I will not be a Veteran of the war we are truly in until the evil ones surrender, or the day I die. Since our “leaders” do not recognize, of the people, by the people, and for the people, the time has come to be the people!

Happy Memorial Day, whenever it comes.

More Gulf War Veterans have died than Vietnam Veterans. This probably is news to you. But the truth has been hidden by a technicality. So here is the truth.

The casualties in the Vietnam War were pretty simple to understand. If a soldier was dead from his combat tour, he was a war casualty. There are 58,195 names recorded on the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, DC.

But something odd has happened with the Iraq War. The government, under the Bush administration, did something dishonest that resulted in a lie thatís persisted since the war began ó and continues to this very day. They decided to report the war deaths in Iraq only if the soldier died with his boots on the ground in a combat situation.

The actual figures have been hidden from the American public just like the returning, flag draped coffins were censored from the press. But the figures are now available and we can only hope that the American people will be outraged when they learn how they have been misled.
