Ron Paul is exposed in this old video. I can't believe the things he is saying. You've got to see this. How can this man be so absolutely right in predicting what America would be facing today? Because our founding fathers knew what fiat money and a central bank would do if they gained control of the U.S. economy, that's how. Apparently Ron Paul is the only candidate running for President that takes the founders seriously.
NASA has been watching the 6-ton satellite closely. On Friday officials moved up their prediction for its arrival to Sept. 23, give or take a day.
NASA scientists have calculated the satellite will break into 26 pieces as it gets closer to Earth. The odds of it hitting someone anywhere on the planet are 1 in 3,200. The heaviest piece to hit the ground will be about 350 pounds, but no one has ever been hit by falling space junk in the past.
NASA: Satellite could scatter debris over 500 miles
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – A 6.5-ton decommissioned NASA science satellite will make an uncontrolled plunge back through the atmosphere by early October, exposing a 500-mile-wide swath of land and sea to falling debris.

I was raised a country boy and we had to use names that wouldn’t offend others for some obvious, but unmentionable things. Now I am faced with the same dilemma on television. Even though I discuss politicians and what they do; broadcast etiquette and political correctness dictates that I not use the words horseshit and bullshit on the air, so a quick review of my earlier years reminded me that the flowery names used then, directly related to the flowery names used now by the major media, or government, describing the same unmentionables. It is my reasoning that we should communicate with them in the same evasive and non-direct language they use on us. I realized that horseshit must become “road apples” and bullshit “meadow muffins.”
For instance, to keep your letter of emotionally charged criticism and acute observation to an elected official from going directly into the trash, simply state: Dear Honorable Blah Blah, Your diet of road apples from your superiors is obviously voluntary as I just learned of your acceptance and ratification of the meadow muffin you call the P.A.T.R.I.O.T act, and/or “do you really believe that the road apples you tried to feed me validates your meadow muffin war?
Ask your pharmacist how the pharmaceutical companies manage to get road apples into such small gelatin capsules and tablets and why he/she believes that it will overcome the aspartame-induced hyperactivity and comatose like existence in your child and yourself?
Since it is not acceptable to simply say, “stop shooting your children,” ask your health worker if he/she has any idea how meadow muffins became inject able, renamed vaccine, and touted to prevent flu delivered by carrier pigeon?
In the courtroom you can confidently stand up and say “your honor, I object to your meadow muffins.”
You can politely inform your local law enforcement officer that you prefer for road apples to remain on the shoulder and not in your wallet renamed a driver license.
A prime application of this word concept would be to rename the 7,000 plus page IRS Code Manual to the “Big Book of Road Apples.” This is much more palatable and compliant with honesty in labeling.
I know, right now you’re thinking, this is ridiculous and this writer must be a few fries short of a “Happy Meal,” but when you really think about it, this is exactly what the major media is doing. They consistently perpetrate the myth that this country is divided into diametrically opposed masses of people, Democrats v. Republicans, Liberals v. Conservatives, blacks v. whites, etc., ad-naseum. They claim that the fight is between the groups, and the progress of the righteous people in government is slowed due the constant bickering of these groups. This concept is road apples. The dominant media obviously does not understand their primary opponent, Natures Unalienable Laws granted by our creator to each of us.
Unalienable means that it cannot be altered, i.e. if you hold up a rock or even the jaw-bone of a neo-con and let go, it will follow a straight path to the ground or if you toss it, it will arc to the ground. No amount of legislation, executive orders or government-funded mandates can ever change this law.
The majority of the people in this land, regardless of their voter registration preference, race, gender and media defined labels, are Americans. They want and work tirelessly for the same thing, basic Liberties granted by their creator. Nothing more, nothing less, no matter how they say it.
Now we see high officials being caught in their road apples and the media is working overtime to perfume what they have spread around and they even try and get it back in the horse. Again, they don’t understand nature’s rules, it is what it is, it smells and if put back under pressure it will explode in their faces.
Corruption, Deception and Meadow Muffins exist at every level of government from commissioners to legislators. They have changed the rules to suit their agenda. Their agenda is to promote and nurture every road apple program that is handed to them in order to have one more grant. It’s all about money not constituents.
The same thing emits both road apples and meadow muffins whether it is at rear of a horse, the rear of a bull, or in the shape of a dominant media spokesperson or elected official. They are all emitters and put out the same thing. Sunlight and heat makes it smell worse and you have to know to walk around it until it’s removed or dries-up and blows away.
Learn to recognize their stuff when it first drops and take the appropriate action to walk around it until you can clean it up. Your children will thank you for it.

The short answer to the question in the title is no.
The 9/11 truth critics have nothing but ad hominem arguments.
Let’s examine the case against "the truthers" presented by Ted Rall, Ann Barnhardt, and Alexander Cockburn.
But first let’s define who "the truthers" are.
The Internet has made it possible for anyone to have a web site and to rant and speculate to their heart’s content. There are a large number of "9/11 conspiracy theorists".
Many on both sides of the issue are equally ignorant. Neither side has any shame about demonstrating ignorance.
Both sides of the issue have conspiracy theories.
9/11 was a conspiracy whether a person believes that it was an inside job or that a handful of Arabs outwitted the entire intelligence apparatus of the Western world and the operational response of NORAD and the US Air Force.
For one side to call the other conspiracy theorists is the pot calling the kettle black.
The question turns not on name-calling but on evidence.
The 9/11 Truth movement was not created by bloggers ranting on their web sites. It was created by professional architects and engineers some of whom are known for having designed steel high rise buildings.
It was created by distinguished scientists, such as University of Copenhagen nano-Chemist Niels Harrit who has 60 scientific papers to his credit and physicist Steven Jones.
It was created by US Air Force pilots and commercial airline pilots who are expert at flying airplanes.
It was created by firefighters who were in the twin towers and who personally heard and experienced numerous explosions including explosions in the sub-basements. It was created by members of 9/11 families who desire to know how such an improbable event as 9/11 could possibly occur.
The professionals and the scientists are speaking from the basis of years of experience and expert knowledge. Moreover, the scientists are speaking from the basis of careful research into the evidence that exists.
When an international research team of scientists spends 18 months studying the components in the dust from the towers and the fused pieces of concrete and steel, they know what they are doing. When they announce that they have definite evidence of incendiaries and explosives, you can bet your life that that have the evidence.
When a physicist proves that Building 7 (the stories not obscured by other buildings) fell at free fall speed and NIST has to acknowledge that he is correct, you can bet your life that the physicist is correct.
When fire department captains and clean-up teams report molten steel--and their testimony is backed up with photographs--in the debris of the ruins weeks and months after the buildings’ destruction, you can bet your life the molten steel was there.
When the same authorities report pumping fire suppressants and huge quantities of water with no effect on the molten steel, you can bet your life that the temperature long after the buildings’ destruction remained extremely high, far higher than any building fire can reach.
When the architects, engineers, and scientists speak, they offer no theory of who is responsible for 9/11. They state that the known evidence supports neither the NIST reports nor the 9/11 Commission Report. They say that the explanation that the government has provided is demonstrably wrong and that an investigation is required if we are to discover the truth about the event.
It is not a conspiracy theory to examine the evidence and to state that the evidence does not support the explanation that has been given.
That is the position of the 9/11 Truth movement.
What is the position of the movement’s critics? Ted Rall says: “Everything I’ve read and watched on Truther sites is easily dismissed by anyone with a basic knowledge of physics and architecture. (I spent three years in engineering school.) http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article29113.htm
Wow! What powerful credentials. Has Rall ever designed a high rise steel building? Could Rall engage in a debate with a professor of nano-chemistry? Could he refute Newton’s laws in a debate with university physicists? Does Rall know anything about maneuvering airplanes? Does he have an explanation why 100 firefighters, janitors, and police report hearing and experiencing explosions that they did not hear or experience?
Clearly, Ted Rall has no qualifications whatsoever to make any judgment about the judgments of experts whose knowledge exceeds his meager understanding by a large amount.
Ann Barnhardt writes: “I gotta tell you, I’ve just about had it with these 9/11 truthers. If there is one phenomenon in our sick, sick culture that sums up how far gone and utterly damaged we are as a people, it is 9/11 trutherism. It pretty much covers everything: self-loathing, antisemitism, zero knowledge of rudimentary physics and a general inability to think logically.” She goes down hill from here. http://barnhardt.biz/
Amazing, isn’t she? Physics professors have “zero knowledge of rudimentary physics.”
Internationally recognized logicians have “a general inability to think logically.” People trained in the scientific method who use it to seek truth are “self-loathing.” If you doubt the government’s account you are antisemitic. Barnhardt then provides her readers with a lesson in physics, structural architecture and engineering, and the behavior of steel under heat and stress that is the most absolute nonsense imaginable.
Obviously, Barnhardt knows nothing whatsoever about what she is talking about, but overflowing with hubris she dismisses real scientists and professionals with ad hominem arguments. She adds to her luster with a video of herself tearing out pages of the Koran, which she has marked with slices of bacon, and burning the pages.
Now we come to Alexander Cockburn. He is certainly not stupid. I know him. He is pleasant company. He provides interesting intellectual conversation. I like him. Yet, he also arrogantly dismisses highly qualified experts who provide evidence contrary to the official government story of 9/11.
Little doubt but there are bloggers somewhere in the vast Internet world who say this. But this is not what the professionals are saying who have provided evidence that the official account is not correct. The experts are simply saying that the evidence does not support the official explanation. More recently, an international team of scientists has reported finding unequivocal evidence of incendiaries and explosives. They have not said anything about who planted them. Indeed, they have said that other scientists should test their conclusions by repeating the research. After calling experts “conspiracy kooks,” Alex then damns them for not putting forward “a scenario of the alleged conspiracy.”
Moreover, not a single one of the experts believes the towers “pancaked.” This was an early explanation that, I believe, was tentatively put forward by NIST, but it had to be abandoned because of the speed with which the buildings came down and due to other problems.
Unlike Rall and Barnhardt, Cockburn does refer to evidence, but it is second or third-hand hearsay evidence that is nonsensical on its face. For example, Cockburn writes that Chuck Spinney “tells me that ‘there ARE pictures taken of the 757 plane hitting Pentagon--they were taken by the surveillance cameras at Pentagon’s heliport, which was right next to impact point. I have seen them both--stills and moving pictures. I just missed seeing it personally, but the driver of the van I just got out of in South Parking saw it so closely that he could see the terrified faces of passengers in windows.’”
If there were pictures or videos of an airliner hitting the Pentagon, they would have been released years ago. They would have been supplied to the 9/11 Commission. Why would the government refuse for 10 years to release pictures that prove its case? The FBI confiscated all film from all surveillance cameras. No one has seen them, much less a Pentagon critic such as Spinney.
I have to say that the van driver must have better eyes than an eagle if he could see expressions on passenger faces through those small airliner portholes in a plane traveling around 500 mph. Try it sometimes. Sit on your front steps and try to discern the expressions of automobile passengers through much larger and clearer windows traveling down your street in a vehicle moving 30 mph. Then kick the speed up 16.7 times to 500 mph and report if you see anything but a blur.
Cockburn’s other evidence that 9/11 truthers are kooks is a letter that Herman Soifer, who claims to be a retired structural engineer, wrote to him summarizing “the collapse of Buildings 1 and 2 succinctly.” This is what Soifer, who “had followed the plans and engineering of the Towers during construction” wrote to Alex: “The towers were basically tubes, essentially hollow.” This canard was disposed of years ago. If Alex had merely googled the plans of the buildings, he would have discovered that there were no thin-walled hollow tubes, but a very large number of massively thick steel beams.
Cockburn's willingness to dismiss as kooks numerous acknowledged experts on the basis of a claim that a van driver saw terrified faces of passengers moving at 500 mph and a totally erroneous description in a letter from a person who knew nothing whatsoever about the structural integrity of the buildings means that he is a much braver person than I.
Before I call architects kooks whose careers were spent building steel high rises, I would want to know a lot more about the subject than I do. Before I poke fun at nano-chemists and physicists, I would want to at least be able to read their papers and find the scientific flaws in their arguments.
Yet, none of the people who ridicule 9/11 skeptics are capable of this. How, for example, can Rall, Barnhardt, or Cockburn pass judgment on a nano-chemist with 40 years of experience and 60 scientific publications to his credit?
They cannot, but nevertheless do. They don’t hesitate to pass judgment on issues about which they have no knowledge or understanding. This is an interesting psychological phenomenon worthy of study and analysis.
Another interesting phenomenon is the strong emotional reactions that many have to 9/11, an event about which they have little information. Even the lead members of the 9/11 Commission itself have said that information was withheld from them and the commission was set up to fail. People who rush to the defense of NIST do not even know what they are defending as NIST refuses to release the details of the simulation upon which NIST bases its conclusion.
There is no 9/11 debate.
On the one hand there are credentialed experts who demonstrate problems in the official account, and on the other hand there are non-experts who denounce the experts as conspiracy kooks.
The experts are cautious and careful about what they say, and their detractors have thrown caution and care to the wind. That is the state of the debate.
Earth Groans Or HAARP Warfare? - The Strange Sound Phenomenon
Sunday, September 18
by Zen Gardner
This strange sound phenomenon is being reported more and more frequently from diverse places on the globe, and sometimes just preceding earthquakes. And not just by a few individuals, but by stadiums of people and even whole cities.
The day before the big Northeast quake in the US the weird sound was heard during a baseball game and caught on TV. (see below). It's also been reported in Russia, Canada, also preceding an earthquake, and other locations.
What Is It?
Let's do a little dot connecting. And by the way, if you're one of those waiting for some government scientist or official to come out with the real story on this and the whole gammut of weird stuff going on you're living in a dream world.
It ain't gonna happen.
What we can do is look at the events themselves, compile what information we can, and put some ideas out there for discussion. I don't pretend to fully understand anything, but I'm very eager to point out what appear to be "anomalies" and patterns happening in our world that seem to have serious significance.
And as many have found out, when you're sincere and open and are passionate about your research and finding real truth, it usually paints a pretty clear picture!
Even though Britain is an antagonist in this Libyan war - Gaddafi loyalist Libyans still return to London to continue their education, and they bring their frontline stories with them.
Unlike Tripoli, Sirte, Bani Walid and Sabha might not fall so quickly, perhaps because they are demographically more homogeneous societies.
Lawmakers are going after the FBI after it was revealed this week that the Federal Bureau of Investigation had been instructing agents that the religion of Islam was on par with a cult and that devout Muslims are likely to turn to terrorism.
In a report earlier in the week from Wired.com’s Danger Room, it was exposed that counterterrorism training materials circulated throughout the FBI manufactured “mainstream” American Muslims as terrorist sympathizers and that their prophet, Mohammed, was a “cult leader.” The FBI was quick to denounce the findings, claiming them archaic; but Danger Room has published the papers on the Web, showcasing that the materials were revised as recently as March of this year.
Now some top senators in Congress are saying the FBI needs to wise-up and change their ways. Among those politicians is Senator Joe Lieberman (D-Ct).
“There is no room in America for the lies, propagated by al-Qaeda, that the US is at war with Islam, or the lie propagated by others that all Muslims support terrorism,” Sen. Lieberman tells Danger Room. In addition to previously running for the presidency of the United States, Lieberman currently serves as the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee.
Lieberman reveals that terrorism is indeed a problem Americans are still posed with, but linking all Muslims to terrorism is not something the FBI needs to do to increase their efforts in the War on Terror.
“Proper training about violent Islamist extremism is absolutely essential for our law enforcement personnel in order to empower them to identify and understand this grave threat, and then protect the American people from it,” Lieberman says. “Part of this training must be an understanding of the clear and profound difference between Islamist extremism, which is a totalitarian political ideology that is at war with us, and Islam, which is a religion practiced by more than a billion people around the world, including millions of law-abiding and loyal Americans.”
The FBI, however, has not been so understanding. In their training manuals, the Bureau warns agents that Muslim law justifies “any war against non-believers” and that the followers of Islam should pose a threat to America, even those that are “main stream” [sic].
Sen. Ron Wyden adds to Danger Room that “Patriotic Muslim Americans can be one of our nation’s best weapons against radical Islamic terrorists.” Also a member of the House intelligence committee, Wyden continues, “Anyone who stigmatizes the entire Muslim American community will miss out on opportunities to work in partnership with that community to identify and take action against emerging terrorist threats before they can do harm to our country.”
Perpetuation the misconception that all Muslims are terrorists, regardless of if they appear to be on the “fringe,” as the FBI says, only plays into al-Qaeda's plan. Allowing actual terrorists to see proof that Americans do have such extreme and bigoted views can only add fuel to a fire that has continued to burn ten years after the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Outside of the FBI, similar sentiments are being installed in other agencies. Both the CIA and New York Police Department have been under fire as of late after The Associated Press revealed that an operative from the Central Intelligence Agency has been instructing officers on the NYPD on how to thwart terrorism by sending undercover agents into mosques, community centers and coffee shops in Muslim-majority neighborhoods. The AP continues to publish investigations into the so-called “Demographics Unit” of the NYPD as more and more is unraveled about spy operations conducted in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and abroad.
Earlier this month, Imam Abdu Ali Muse of the Masjid al-Islam mosque in Washington DC told RT that islamophobia is more mainstream than ever and said that there is a state of fear existing in the Muslim community.
"It's worse than McCarthyism. More like Nazism," he said.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has been nominated for a Chinese alternative to the Nobel Peace Prize, Confucius Peace Prize, the Chinese news portal sina.com said on Saturday.
The Confucius Peace Prize emerged for the first time in 2010, when it was suddenly announced by a shadowy group two days before jailed Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize amid furious protests from Beijing.
Other candidates include German Chancellor Angela Merkel, South African President Jacob Zuma. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and former UN secretary general Kofi Annan are also among those being considered for the award.
The jobless in New Jersey find refuge in Tent City
(Thanks to Terry for sharing this with us)
By Allan Chernoff, CNN Senior Correspondent
September 15, 2011
Lakewood, New Jersey (CNN) -- Cars and trucks cruise along Cedar Bridge Avenue, drivers listening to radio anchors reporting the headline that a record 46 million Americans are living in poverty, while 50 feet from the bustling boulevard, hidden by the woods that border the road, lies a shocking example of that shameful statistic.
Behind the trees, six dozen homeless Americans have set up camp, in tents, teepees and huts, residents of what they call Tent City. It's a place where those out of work and out of luck can drop out of society while living as cheaply as possible.
"It's a community here," said the Rev. Steven Brigham, who founded Tent City in 2006 as part of his Lakewood Outreach Ministry Church. "They have a sense of belonging."
In the past year Brigham has seen Tent City's population nearly double as the jobs recession drags on.
(Reuters) - The U.S. pursuit of offshore tax evaders is widening to include Israel, where U.S. authorities are scrutinizing three of Israel's largest banks over suspicions their Swiss outposts helped American clients evade taxes, people briefed on the matter said.
The banks under scrutiny by the U.S. Justice Department's criminal tax division are Bank Hapoalim, Bank Leumi le-Israel BM and Mizrahi-Tefahot, the sources said.
The shift to Israel from Switzerland, for years the main focus of the Justice Department's campaign against offshore private banking secrecy, signals the broadening of a landmark probe by the agency that began in 2007 with UBS AG, Switzerland's largest bank.
The shift also opens up a potential sore spot in the historically close relationship between the United States and Israel, a key diplomatic and military ally in the Middle East that is the biggest recipient of U.S. aid -- $3.1 billion last year.
U.S.-Israeli relations have come under strain in the past year, after U.S. President Barack Obama's drive to relaunch direct peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians collapsed, although both sides say their decades-old alliance remains unshaken.
