I praise all of you who now have your eyes open and a positive direction in your step. I wrote this several years ago and am elated to bear witness to the millions of Americans who have now stepped forward to work solving the dilemma we have put ourselves in. I especially give thanks to the present gaggle of dunderheads who have lied, cheated and stolen their way to become our “leaders.” From the White House on down this strain of mental midgets has awakened a sleeping giant; the American people. Celebrate with caution and remain determined to see Freedom/Liberty restored for we are truly on our way to victory. I Love You All! Dennis

by Dennis Grover, American

In these times of poisoned food and water, chemicals from the sky, mind-altering pharmaceuticals, revised history and mind-numbing education; there has emerged an unusual breed of humanity. People like you and I who can clearly see what is happening in our once free country. I like to call this wonderfully immune group, Americans. The very core of a healthy, free people has three basic attributes. Praise, Gratitude and Love. On this holiday I express them all.

I give thanks, after watching a new US president “take over” this nations reins after being (s)elected by a lapdog media, questionable voting machines and a two (identical) political party system rather than an honest election by the people; and then realizing that the empty warhead above this new “president’s” shoulders is aimed at the root of each and every trace of American Freedom and Heritage and health. For all this I am humbled in gratitude for my ability to not be asleep with the ignorant.

I give thanks to the “(s)elected leaders” in majority along with their word and actions. Without them I would not be able to recognize that I have morals.

I give thanks to the Federal Reserve System. It would be my pleasure to meet those who devised such a scheme for a quick back patting session prior to their demise, however, I know that to be impossible since when we depart this earth, their accommodations and my own will be quite different. I do appreciate their efforts here as they have taught me the true meaning of fraud.

I give thanks for the Internal Revenue Service. (Re-read the last paragraph.)

I give thanks to chemical companies and the aircrews who spew their poison across our skies. Without their presence I would not remember the clear blue skies that used to cover our land, nor would I have realized the vast amount of people lacking the ability to look upward and venomously attack those who request that they do so.

I give thanks to the marriage of pharmaceutical companies and the medical industry. Without this union from hell, I would never have learned the true meaning of natural health and healing.

I give thanks to those who renamed the hazardous waste hydrofluorosilic acid to fluoride and made it more acceptable to dump in our municipal water supplies. Without them I would have never known why osteoporosis, cancer and dental profits were on the rise.

I give thanks to those who designed and implemented our government-controlled public school curriculum. Without them I would never have believed the high level of frustration among dedicated teachers trying to do their job with their hands tied. I would not understand the emergence of generations of children functioning without conscious interpretations of their actions. I would also not know the value of self-education.

I give thanks to the major media networks now owned by an elite few because in their absence I would still believe that puppets have visible strings. I would not know that some men and women are capable of distorting facts daily for a paycheck. I would not know to question what is being said instead of just accepting it.

I give thanks to the present judicial and legal profession that has replaced our justice system. They have successfully nudged out the honest prostitutes to become the oldest profession. The present day system, through personal experience, has taught me that those participants in their fine suits and black ceremonial robes arise from the very core of corruption by replacing law with procedures. Contempt of court has become a national phenomena rather than a crime.

I give thanks to organized religion and political parties, as bearing witness to the actions of their leaders has taught me the value of exercising personal spirituality and creation of my path rather than blindly following theirs.

I give thanks to sheep for voluntarily being sheared and allowing my observance of their every move in reaction to the dog bark. It has taught me to not react and conform to a self proclaimed shepherd masquerading as an owner of the flock or his trained dogs.

While there is much more in this same vain to give thanks for, I will always remember the words of a very wise Western Shoshone Elder when he looked me straight in the eye and said “We as a vast and varied people in a great and free nation screwed up and are now living on government-granted reservations. Now you are the Indian, what are you going to do about it?”

I give thanks to you for having read this far and understanding. You must be an American. After spending years at racetracks I learned that coming in second only meant that you are the first loser. In this race to regain our Freedom, health and sanity, I will only accept the first place trophy. America, Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.

Happy Thanks-Giving.

S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill

Law to "Detain Americans without Trial" is proposed

"American Concentration Camps" - if you do Nothing

Senators Demand the Military Lock Up American Citizens in a “Battlefield” They Define as Being Right Outside Your Window

While nearly all Americans head to family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Senate is gearing up for a vote on Monday or Tuesday that goes to the very heart of who we are as Americans. The Senate will be voting on a bill that will direct American military resources not at an enemy shooting at our military in a war zone, but at American citizens and other civilians far from any battlefield — even people in the United States itself.

Senators need to hear from you, on whether you think your front yard is part of a “battlefield” and if any president can send the military anywhere in the world to imprison civilians without charge or trial.

The Senate is going to vote on whether Congress will give this president—and every future president — the power to order the military to pick up and imprison without charge or trial civilians anywhere in the world. Even Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) raised his concerns about the NDAA detention provisions during last night’s Republican debate. The power is so broad that even U.S. citizens could be swept up by the military and the military could be used far from any battlefield, even within the United States itself.

The worldwide indefinite detention without charge or trial provision is in S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill, which will be on the Senate floor on Monday. The bill was drafted in secret by Sens. Carl Levin (D-Mich.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.) and passed in a closed-door committee meeting, without even a single hearing.

I know it sounds incredible. New powers to use the military worldwide, even within the United States? Hasn’t anyone told the Senate that Osama bin Laden is dead, that the president is pulling all of the combat troops out of Iraq and trying to figure out how to get combat troops out of Afghanistan too? And American citizens and people picked up on American or Canadian or British streets being sent to military prisons indefinitely without even being charged with a crime. Really? Does anyone think this is a good idea? And why now?

The answer on why now is nothing more than election season politics. The White House, the Secretary of Defense, and the Attorney General have all said that the indefinite detention provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act are harmful and counterproductive. The White House has even threatened a veto. But Senate politics has propelled this bad legislation to the Senate floor.

But there is a way to stop this dangerous legislation. Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) is offering the Udall Amendment that will delete the harmful provisions and replace them with a requirement for an orderly Congressional review of detention power. The Udall Amendment will make sure that the bill matches up with American values.

In support of this harmful bill, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) explained that the bill will “basically say in law for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield” and people can be imprisoned without charge or trial “American citizen or not.” Another supporter, Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) also declared that the bill is needed because “America is part of the battlefield.”

The solution is the Udall Amendment; a way for the Senate to say no to indefinite detention without charge or trial anywhere in the world where any president decides to use the military. Instead of simply going along with a bill that was drafted in secret and is being jammed through the Senate, the Udall Amendment deletes the provisions and sets up an orderly review of detention power. It tries to take the politics out and put American values back in.

In response to proponents of the indefinite detention legislation who contend that the bill “applies to American citizens and designates the world as the battlefield,” and that the “heart of the issue is whether or not the United States is part of the battlefield,” Sen. Udall disagrees, and says that we can win this fight without worldwide war and worldwide indefinite detention.

The senators pushing the indefinite detention proposal have made their goals very clear that they want an okay for a worldwide military battlefield, that even extends to your hometown. That is an extreme position that will forever change our country.

Now is the time to stop this bad idea. Please urge your senators to vote YES on the Udall Amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act.

Reward for Russian appeasement is futility

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev sent a harsh warning to the US over its missile defense installations in East Europe on Wednesday. Despite these strongly-toned remarks, the White House firmly insists on keeping its missile shield, risking the destruction of easing tensions and improving relations.

Moscow has been making efforts to reduce hostility with the US since Mikhail Gorbachev was in office. However it is frustrated because the dissolution of the Warsaw Treaty Organization and the collapse of the Soviet Union did not remove US vigilance. Former US president Bill Clinton initiated NATO's eastward expansion in the 1990s, which smashed the Russian dream of emerging into the West. The Russians realized that the US and the whole Western world did not truly wish to embrace Russia. What they want is to take advantage of Russia's difficulties and extend their influences into the area Russia formerly controlled.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Wednesday announced with unusual rhetoric that Moscow may move offensive missile systems to its borders with Europe if missile defense talks with the United States and NATO fail.

Medvedev's statement could mean that Moscow is losing patience with Washington on the missile shield issue, local observers said.

"Medvedev wants to demonstrate he is tough, determined, and ready to protect national interests. Earlier, only his envoy to NATO Dmitry Rogozin used such rhetoric," said Alexei Makarkin, analyst from the Center for Political Technologies in Moscow.

"Now Medvedev formally made it clear that Moscow has been disappointed with the 'reset' of Russia-U.S. relations, which has failed to find common language on missile defense issue," Makarkin said.

Russia Threatens Missiles in Belarus
22 November 2011

Moscow has threatened to deploy tactical missiles in Belarus and on its own borders if talks with Washington on European missile defense plans fail, a senior diplomatic source told Interfax on Monday.

The source said Moscow might set up Iskander missiles in Belarus and in Russia's Krasnodar region. It has previously threatened to deploy missile launch pads in Russia's Baltic enclave of Kaliningrad.

"This would allow us to counter the threats to Russia's strategic forces in case U.S. missile defense components are deployed close to our borders," the source said.

Russia sees the U.S. missile defense system in Europe, which is not due to be fully installed until 2020, as a threat to its strategic nuclear potential. Moscow has threatened a new "arms race" with Washington if its concerns are ignored.

CIA spies 'caught' in Iran, Lebanon – U.S. media

Several dozen spies working for the CIA in Iran and Lebanon have been caught, ABC News said, citing U.S. officials with connections to the intelligence community.

According to an exclusive ABC report on Monday, “the spies were paid informants recruited by the CIA for two distinct espionage rings targeting Iran and the Beirut-based Hezbollah organization.”

The officials, cited by ABC, admitted that the loss of the two U.S. spy rings in the Middle East represents “a setback of significant proportions in efforts to track the activities of the Iranian nuclear program and the intentions of Hezbollah against Israel.”

Army sets up strategic planning unit

BEIJING - A strategic planning department was set up on Tuesday by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) as the army is rapidly modernizing itself for more sophisticated operations, the PLA Daily's website reported.

The report said the function of the department, which will be administered by the General Staff Headquarters, include: studying of critical strategic issues; drafting plans and reform proposals for the PLA's development; submitting suggestions on the allocation of the PLA's strategic resources and examining and evaluating the implementation of the plans for the PLA's development.

Luo Yuan, deputy secretary-general of the China Society of Military Science, told China Daily the move is in response to increasingly sophisticated military operation in the future that might involve multiple combat forces and headquarters.

"The new department will become an authoritative and comprehensive planning center," Luo said.

Guo Boxiong, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission, and Chief of the General Staff Chen Bingde attended the ceremony that marked the establishment of the department.

The conference came one day after President Hu Jintao met representatives to the Seventh Party congress of the PLA Academy of Military Science.

Hu urged the military academy to closely follow military development trends throughout the world, examine the development of the Chinese army, and pay more attention to the study of strategic issues.

China's oil output to rise steadily as gas output soars

BEIJING - China's oil production will rise steadily over the next 20 years, and its gas output will soar, the Ministry of Land and Resources said Thursday.

Combined oil and gas output is expected to rise to 360 million tons of oil equivalent by 2015 and 450 million tons by 2030, up from 280 million tons last year, Peng Qiming, director of the ministry's geological exploration department, said at a press conference, adding that "natural gas will contribute mainly to the growth in oil and gas output."

The country has discovered 52 trillion cubic meters of gas, of which, 32 trillion cubic meters can be exploited, according to a report issued by the ministry at the press conference.

The report said the country's natural gas output will reach 300 billion cubic meters by 2030. The Ordos Basin in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and the Sichuan Basin in Sichuan province will remain the country's major gas-producing regions.

Meanwhile, the country can maintain annual crude output at the level of 200 million tons over the next 20 years. China's annual oil production may peak around 220 million tons, the report said, without specifying when the peak will be reached.

China will step up oil and gas exploration to meet the country's rising energy demands and to ease its reliance on imports, Peng said.

China's oil dependency rate reached 54.8 percent during the first half of the year, up one percentage point from a year earlier, according to data from the National Development and Reform Commission.

Pakistan: 25 troops dead in NATO helicopter attack

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — Pakistan on Saturday accused NATO helicopters of firing on two army checkpoints in the northwest and killing 25 soldiers, then retaliated by closing a key border crossing used by the coalition to supply its troops in neighboring Afghanistan.

The incident Friday night was a major blow to already strained relations between Islamabad and U.S.-led forces fighting in Afghanistan. It will add to perceptions in Pakistan that the American presence in the region is malevolent, and to resentment toward the weak government in Islamabad for co-operating with Washington.

The Pakistan military blamed NATO for Friday's attack in the Mohmand tribal area, saying the helicopters "carried out unprovoked and indiscriminate firing."

If Israel fires single missile at Iran

Referring to recent anti-Iran rhetoric by the US and Israel, Brigadier General Yadollah Javani said on Saturday that Iran will not just repel enemy attacks and is capable of countering hostile attempts within enemy territory.

“If Israel fires a missile towards our nuclear or critical facilities, it should know that every inch of Israel including its nuclear centers are a target for our missiles [to hit] and we have this capability today,” the Iranian general said.

Bush, Blair guilty in Malaysia 'war crimes trial'

AFP - Former US president George W Bush and British ex-prime minister Tony Blair were Tuesday found guilty at a mock tribunal in Malaysia for committing "crimes against peace" during the Iraq war.

The Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal, part of an initiative by former Malaysian premier Mahathir Mohamad -- a fierce critic of the Iraq war -- found the former leaders guilty after a four-day hearing.

"The Tribunal deliberated over the case and decided unanimously that the first accused George Bush and second accused Blair have been found guilty of crimes against peace," the tribunal said in a statement.

"Unlawful use of force threatens the world to return to a state of lawlessness. The acts of the accused were unlawful." Mahathir, who stepped down in 2003 after 22 years in power, unveiled plans for the tribunal in 2007 just before he condemned Bush and Blair as "child killers" and "war criminals" at the launch of an annual anti-war conference.

A seven-member panel chaired by former Malaysian Federal Court judge Abdul Kadir Sulaiman presided over the trial, which began last Saturday, and both Bush and Blair were tried in absentia.

"The evidence showed that the drums of wars were being beaten long before the invasion. The accused in their own memoirs have admitted their own intention to invade Iraq regardless of international law," it said.

The verdict is purely symbolic as the tribunal has no enforcement powers.

The tribunal is also expected to later hear torture and war crimes charges against seven others, including former US secretary of defence Donald Rumsfeld and former vice president Dick Cheney.

The Roads To War And Economic Collapse

by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts

November 23, 2011: The day before the Thanksgiving holiday brought three extraordinary news items.  One was the report on the Republican presidential campaign debate. One was the Russian President’s statement about his country’s response to Washington’s missile bases surrounding his country. And one was the failure of a German government bond auction.

As the presstitute media will not inform us of what any of this means, let me try.

With the exception of Ron Paul, the only candidate in either party qualified to be the president of the US, the rest of the Republican candidates are even worse than Obama, a president who had the country behind him but sold out the American people to special interests.

No newly elected president in memory, neither John F. Kennedy nor Ronald Reagan, had the extraordinary response to his election as Barack Obama. A record-breaking number of people braved the cold to witness his swearing in ceremony. The mall was filled for miles distant from the Capitol with Americans who could not see the ceremony except as televised on giant screens.

Obama had convinced the electorate that he would end the wars, stop the violation of law by the US government, end the regime of illegal torture, close the torture prison of Guantanamo, and attend to the real needs of the American people rather than stuff the pockets of the military/security complex with taxpayers’ money.

Once in office, Obama renewed and extended the Bush/Cheney/neoconservative wars.

He validated the Bush regime’s assaults on the US Constitution. He left Wall Street in charge of US economic policy, he absolved the Bush regime of its crimes, and he assigned to the American people the financial cost necessary to preserve the economic welfare of the mega-rich.

One would think such a totally failed president would be easy to defeat.  Given an historic opportunity, the Republican Party has put before the electorate the most amazingly stupid and vile collection of prospects, with the exception of Ron Paul who does not have the party’s support, that Americans have ever seen.

In the November 22 presidential “debate,” the candidates, with the exception of Ron Paul, revealed themselves as a collection of ignorant warmongers who support the police state. Gingrich and Cain said that Muslims “want to kill us all” and that “all of us will be in danger for the rest of out lives.”

Bachmann said that the American puppet state, Pakistan, is “more than an existential threat.”  Bachmann has no idea what is “more than an existential threat.”

However, it sounded heavy, like an intellectual thing to say for the candidate who previously declared the long-defunct Soviet Union to be today’s threat to the US.

Unfortunately for Americans and the world, the US electorate lacks the intelligence and awareness of their plight as denizens of a police state to elect Ron Paul, the last defender together with Rep. Dennis Kucinich of the US Constitution.  Nevertheless, there would be a silver lining in one of the Republican morons being elected president of the “world’s only superpower.” Once the rest of the world realized that a war-crazed idiot had  his or her finger on the nuclear button, the rest of the world would organize and close down the Washington horror before it destroys life on earth.

Any sentient American who watched or read about the Republican presidential debate must wonder what there is to be thankful for as the national holiday approaches.

The Russian government, which prefers to use its resources for the economy rather than for the military, has decided that it has been taking too many risks in the name of peace. The day before Thanksgiving, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said, in a televised address to the Russian people, that if Washington goes ahead with its planned missile bases surrounding Russia, Russia will respond with new nuclear missiles of its own, which will target the Amerikan bases and European capital cities.

The President of Russia said that the Russian government has asked Washington for legally binding guarantees that the American missile bases are not intended as a threat to Russia, but that Washington has refused to give such guarantees.

Medvedev’s statement is perplexing. What does he mean “if Washington goes ahead?”  The American missile and radar bases are already in place. Russia is already surrounded.  Is Medvedev just now aware of what is already in place?

Russia’s and China’s slow response to Washington’s aggression can only be understood in the context of the two countries experience with communism. The sufferings of Russians and Chinese under communism was extreme, and the thinking part of those populations saw America as the ideal of political life. This delusion still controls the mentality of progressive thinkers in Russia and China.  It might prove to be a disaster for Russia and China that the countries have citizens who are aligned with the US.

Belief in Washington’s trustworthiness even pervades the Russian government, which apparently, according to Medvedev’s statement, would be reassured by a “legally binding guarantee” from Washington.  After the massive lies told by Washington in the 21st century--”weapons of mass destruction,” “al Qaeda connections,” “Iranian nukes”--why would anyone put any credence in “a legally binding guarantee” from Washington. The guarantee would mean nothing. How could it be enforced?  Such a guarantee would simply be another deceit in Washington’s pursuit of world hegemony.

The day prior to Thanksgiving also brought another extraordinary development--the failure of a German government bond auction, an unparalleled event.

Why would Germany, the only member of the EU with financial rectitude, not be able to sell 35% of its offerings of 10-year bonds?  Germany has no debt problems, and its economy is expected by EU and US authorities to bear the lion’s share of the bailout of the EU member countries that do lack financial rectitude.

I suspect that the answer to this question is that the failure of the German government’s bond auction was orchestrated by the US, by EU authorities, especially the European Central Bank, and private banks in order to punish Germany for obstructing the purchase of EU member countries’ sovereign debt by the European Central Bank.

The German government has been trying to defend the terms on which Germany gave up control over its own currency and joined the EU. By insisting on the legality of the agreements, Germany has been standing in the way of the ECB behaving as the US Federal Reserve and monetizing the debt of member governments.

From the beginning the EU was a conspiracy against Germany. If Germany remains in the EU, Germany will be destroyed. It will lose its political and economic sovereignty, and its economy will be bled in behalf of the fiscally irresponsible members of the EU.

If Greeks will not submit to the tyranny, why should Germans?

China syndrome inevitable says architect of Fukushima Reactor No. 3 — Warns of massive hydrovolcanic explosion — Melted fuel inevitably sank underground Architect of Fukushima Daiichi Reactor 3, Uehara Haruo, the former president of Saga University had an interview on 11/17/2011.

In this interview, he admitted Tepco’s explanation does not make sense, and that the China syndrome is inevitable.

He stated that considering 8 months have passed since 311 without any improvement, it is inevitable that melted fuel went out of the container vessel and sank underground, which is called China syndrome.

He added, if fuel has reaches a underground water vein, it will cause contamination of underground water, soil contamination and sea contamination. Moreover, if the underground water vein keeps being heated for long time, a massive hydrovolcanic explosion will be caused.

He also warned radioactive debris is spreading in Pacific Ocean. Tons of the debris has reached the Marshall Islands as of 11/15/2011.

Solid Proof That Weather Modification Projects Are Being Conducted All Over The United States

Most Americans still believe that our weather patterns are 100% natural and that our government has absolutely no control over the weather. Unfortunately, that is not the case at all. What you are about to read is evidence that weather modification is happening right now all over the United States. This is never acknowledged by our politicians and it is never talked about by the mainstream media. But it is very, very real. Weather modification programs in some parts of the country have been going on for many years and evidence of these programs is hidden in plain view. So does this mean that if we don't like the weather we can just blame the government? Well, yes it does, but it also means that the government has been seriously messing around with our environment and there could be "unintended consequences" that are far more dramatic than any of us ever dared to imagine.
