There has been a war, a cold war or an intervention continually; The American Revolution (1775 – 1782), The War of 1812 (Second War of Independence) (1812 – 1815), The Mexican American War (1821 – 1846), The Civil War (1861 – 1865), The Spanish American War (1898), Philippine American War (Philippine Insurrection) (1899 – 1902), World War I (1914 – 1918), World War II (1941 – 1945), The Korean War (1950 -1953), Vietnam War (1959 – 1975), Gulf War (1990 – 1991), Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Afghanistan War to present with interventions filling most of the gaps. Interventions in China (1945-46), Cuba(1950-53), Guatemala(1954), Indonesia(1958), Guatemala(1960), Belgian Congo(1964), Guatemala(1964), Dominican Republic(1965-66), Peru(1965), Laos(1964-73), Cambodia(1965-73), Guatemala(1967-69), Lebanon(1982-84), Grenada(1983-84), Libya(1966-85-86-89), Iran(1987-88-1998), Panama(1989-90), Kuwait(1991), Somalia(1992-94), Bosnia(1995), Sudan(1998), Yugoslavia(1999)

The economic stimulation of World War I and II doubled the gross national product in the US, producing a war economy that never ended and a peace dividend never to begin.

Today with most everyone’s attention towards Africa and the Middle East, in this writer’s opinion we are all preparing to be blindsided by where the real war, World War III, is actually beginning. That would be between Russia/ China and Japan/ USA.
With the current world economy in shambles and the battle for the status of the world’s reserve currency ensuing the usual antidote is; as history has shown, World War.

With the latest revelations: Russia, China and Iran now forming a new energy axis, China’s defense budget increasing 12.7% , also it is now clear China is trying to position the yuan/renminbi as the global reserve currency. China is even recruiting pigeons to deliver messages in case of damage to communication systems and rolling out their latest J-20 stealth aircraft. China also announcing its first ocean economic zone in the coastal province of Shandong signaling the country is enlarging its economic focus from the land to cover the ocean as well.

Also now Russia is testing the 2nd prototype of a fifth-generation fighter that they have been developing since the 90s. It is designed to compete with the U.S. F-22 Raptor, so far the world’s only fifth-generation fighter, and the F-35 Lightning II. Russia is deploying Bastion missile systems and Yakhont anti-ship cruise missiles to the disputed South Kuril Islands that Japan claims as theirs with US backing.

Remember Russia and Japan have never signed a peace treaty from World War II over these disputed Islands. This is the real powder keg with a fuse ready to be lit. Who will light it?

Am I anti-war, you bet your life I am. I’m sick of it!!! Have you seen the head count on families and children lately?

Libya and the rest of the OPEC nations are just pawns in the big game, is this a checkmate to start World War III?
