They Still Don’t Get It

If you listen to the main stream media these days you will hear them say don’t share the wealth, and match doing so with Communism, Marxism and such. What we have to remember here is that the majority of these talking heads are rich beyond most of our wildest dreams.

Let’s get real world here, in no way am I stating anyone should get a free ride, or anything without earning it, but you have to agree things are pretty lop-sided these days unless you are lucky, or work a government / state job.

Enough will be enough when it doesn’t pay to work anymore, I think many of us are very close to this point and some have already past it.

Until we see a change in the greed factor here in America we are going to keep spiraling down to the depth’s of despair.

Since when did it become the American way to see how little can be paid or done for the American working class? Well the outcome of this can be seen today and it isn’t pretty, most are working like slaves and not making ends meet anymore. The jobs have moved over seas and the ones here have been taken over by people willing to except cheap labor by living together with multiple families.

What I have seen in my short time here on planet greed just amazes me, fifty years now. There was a turning point somewhere around the late 80′s, when I really started to notice that we here in America are not working as a team anymore. It used to be the harder you worked and the better you did the more one would make, this is why we work hard and try and do a better job, to get ahead right?

It used to be you could make a living wage working a job 8 hours a day, what happened to those days, I’ll tell you, greed is what happened, it’s always more and nothing is enough no matter how hard you work, workaholics, and next thing you know life is over. No time for family, friends or yourself, this is the American way of life now for most of the working class, and let us not forget it is us, the working class that pays all the bills for government and salaries and insurances for all employed by government or living off government. These government employees make double what the tax paying worker makes doing the same job all the while screaming for more.(1) This can only be described as theft.

So what is the plan here? When the time comes everyone is working for the government who is going to pay the government? With over two million civilian employees alone, this does not include the military and many others employed by the federal government. Such as the CIA, FBI etc…secretaries, judges and lawyers etc. Then we have the local and state governments, somewhere in the neighborhood of 50% of the working force are employed by some form of government agency making double with full benefits and retirement, and who’s paying for it, the working class that’s who, most with no benefits, no insurance, and retirement… that’s funny. We now have the elderly forced back to work or face homelessness many are living in sub standard conditions and can’t afford air conditioning or heat let alone medical attention or pharmaceuticals.(2)

Most of these elderly have worked HARD all their life.

Speaking for myself I made $32,000 last year and it barely pays the bills, 285 days out on the road, I sat down and figured it out at an hourly wage and it was much more than I thought. I guessed it would be around .70 cents an hour but it came out to $4.70 an hour, no benefits no insurance and no retirement.
And I am high paid at .40 cents a mile.

What is wrong with this picture.

Whats wrong is some have made an art form out of squeezing anything and everything out of our fellow man, it is now to the breaking point and nobody in power in the business world want’s to change it. The working class Americans have been sucked dry and they (the suckers) are and have now moved to other countries to devour them.

There is no moral reason for anyone to be making money hands over fist at the expense of the HARD working, working class Americans.

As President George Bush said to a divorced mother of three in Omaha, Nebraska Feb. 4th 2005
“You work three jobs? … Uniquely American, isn’t it? I mean, that is fantastic that you’re doing that.”

Until the wealth, and there is plenty of it, is shared proportionately, I am not saying evenly but justly, we are living in what I can only describe as a cannibal nation.

It’s just not right.
